What contractors usually ask.
Does BOSS replace my project management software?
Not necessarily. If you're already running Buildertrend, CoConstruct, or similar, BOSS works alongside it. If you're running jobs out of a notepad and group texts, BOSS can be the system.
How does it work from the job site?
Text or voice. Send a quick update, ask a question, log a change order. BOSS is designed for operators who are on the job site, not sitting at a desk.
What about subcontractor management?
BOSS tracks your subcontractor contacts, COI expiry dates, current jobs they're assigned to, and reliability notes from past work. When a COI lapses, you know before the job starts.
Can it help with estimates?
BOSS maintains your job cost history — what materials cost, what labor ran, what subcontractors charged. That history makes estimating more grounded. BOSS isn't estimating software, but it feeds the context that makes estimates more accurate.
